Hello, I added my credit card and have the $5 trial credit appearing in my billing dashboard. However, my API requests are still returning headers for the Free Tier (200,000 TPD limit) instead of the Developer Tier.
I’ve tried making new API keys, waiting 24hrs and trying several models, and still hitting their respective free tier limits. Just wondering how I can fix this, and if need be add prepaid credits so I can keep using the service. I had a friend I recommended the service to in my excitement and he is running into the same issue unfortunately.

@msarnette Have you made an API call since adding your credit card? At least one api call needs to be made after adding the credit card to trigger the payment tier switch. Going through the playground will not trigger this switch.
Yes, I added it yesterday and have continued to try using Cline and other such tools with API calls. I’ve made new API keys as well to see if that’d get it to refresh with no luck.
@msarnette I apologize for this, the fix was supposed to be in a week ago. Please try the api again. I want to see if they toggle from developer back to free.
I have the same problem, @Coby Would it be possible to know when the fix will be available? We would like to send this implementation into production as soon as possible. T
hank you.
@sunhowie@marco I do apologize for this . I had thought the issue was corrected I have submitted a new bug to engineering . I will give you status by C.O.B. PDT Tuesday.
@sunhowie and @marco I have adjusted you manually for now . We are in the process of migrating our billing code and the new release should tend to a lot of this. I do not have the date for the new billing code release just yet .
@Coby Sorry for the late reply! I gave it a try today and the limits seem to be fixed! Definitely went well over 200,000 tokens lol. Thank you for the help!
