Hello, I’m considering using SambaNova Cloud and wanted to clarify how data is handled.
Are user prompts and model outputs stored in any way, and if so, for how long? Also, are they ever used for training or fine-tuning, or are they only processed temporarily to provide responses?

We appreciate your concern. SambaNova values user privacy and data security. By default, input tokens and prompts sent to the API are not stored or archived and are not used for training or fine-tuning.

Thanks for the clarification. I had a quick follow-up after reading the Terms of Service. From what I understand, prompts and outputs count as Customer Content and aren’t collected, while only Service Usage Data (like metrics) may be used for operations and improvements.
Can you confirm that user inputs and prompts are not part of Service Usage Data?
