DeepSeek-V3-0324 supports tool use (tested on OpenRouter) but using the same model on SambaNova it says it doesn’t. Is this something specifically turned off? This is the exact error I get “[ERROR: Model DeepSeek-V3-0324 does not support tool use.]”
Thank you for joining the community and for bringing this to my attention. I will revert to the release team to see if this was by design and if so when tool use will be coming.

I really appreciate it!
To clarify a bit more I am connecting to SambaNova (OpenAI Node) using N8N with the AI tools agent node. Not sure that it makes a difference.
They will be correcting this shortly. As soon as I know day if the fix , I’ll let you know.

Came here after having the same issue on every model I tried. Please update when this issue will be solved. Thanks in Advance
Is there any update on this?
I don’t know what to say?
The most critical feature for going production with Sambanova is down for a long time.
I was re-checking everyday to this issue if it’s solved since last 10+ Days. Also contacted support but no human response till now. Very frustrated
Has anyone found a solution for this?
@coby.adams Hi, is there any update on this? Thanks
@j.gillott @diego.alvarez.zuluag and others fixes are on their way. As soon as I have an ETA I will update.
