I keep getting the “429 Rate Limit” error, indicating that I’ve exceeded the token usage limit of 200,000. However, I have an active Developer account.
This limit should be the one for the free account. I don’t understand why I keep getting this error.
In any case, I don’t have much time to resolve this, so I’m forced to take the service offline. Once you’ve fixed the issue, please let me know so I can try to get SambaNova back online.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We acknowledge your concern about “Token usage limit” and have noted it for review. Our team will look into this, and we will get back to you with an update.
Hi @marco ,
As per our log analysis, it appears that the account may not currently have sufficient credits available, which could be causing the observed 429 Rate Limit errors.
Could you please verify the account credit/billing status on your end and let us know the findings?
Thank you for sharing the credit details.
Looking into the issue further, we are raising an internal ticket for additional investigation regarding the observed 429 Rate Limit errors.
We will keep you updated here as soon as we receive any further findings or updates from the internal team.
I don’t know that, the errore report me also the tokens I was using. SambaNova API error: 429 TOO MANY REQUESTS Request would exceed rate limit. Violated duration_s: 86400, current usage: 796942, limit: 200000
Marco , I am talking to cloud operations and am filing a bug as to why this may be occurring. You seem to be hitting the Free tier TPD vs the Dev Tier TPD which is 20000000
I have also joined the Developer Program. I am an enterprise user, and my app has already been launched on the App Store. The model I’m using is Llama-4. My account balance is sufficient, and my RPM is not over 60 — it’s only around 20. However, I’m still encountering the same 429 Rate Limit. Your platform has become the core service of my app, and this is very urgent for me. Could you please help resolve this issue as soon as possible? Thank you.
